Riverside Motel is Southport's only motel on the Cape Fear riverbank in historic downtown, reflecting the charm and access of an earlier time. The motel offers wide porches with swings facing the river with a panoramic view. The 8 rooms of the Riverside Motel were renovated in 2002.

Our 6 waterfront rooms have a private porch swing, while our lower-cost streetside rooms are of the standard. All rooms are non-smoking. All rooms have TV's, air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Some rooms have a single queen bed while others have two full size beds.

Children are allowed, but sorry, no pets.

The Riverside Motel is managed through the Riverview Inn just across the street. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Street side: $85

The above is based on occupancy of one or two. Extra persons can be accommodated with a rollaway bed for a $10 charge.
